Been into design and construction but stopped for several months. I miss the outdoors like going to the jobsite and do some supervisions. I miss doing designs, most of all. Would love to be back soon. I’m your lady architect here. Proud to be in the men-dominated world.

I’m curious how you got into doing architecture. I’m a college senior currently majoring in graphic design who has been infatuated with floor plans and buildings for a couple years. I am going to graduate in 6 months, and have been taking a look at what I want to do. I am very interested in studying architecture, but as you said, it is such a male dominated genre of work. I am looking into maybe doing a 3 year masters in architecture for non-majors… but I am curious what I can do now in my free time that would further my learning. I read my architectural magazines… look for books, etc. Just wondering if you had any advice in general. Would love to see more of your work.
